Letošní vovaku začalo netradičně již v neděli 20tého července. Základní team se sešel na Smíchovském nádraží, tentokrát kolem poledne, vybavil se pivy a slupnul pizzu, schválil uchovy boty - že asi budou dobré a vyrazil vlakem směr Havlíčkův Brod. Na Hlaváku přistoupil kolega Kůca a na úspěch výpravy vylovil z batůžku Fernet z něhož přinutil všechny si zavdat a po zbytek cesty v tom nucení pokračoval. Kompletní složení se sestávalo z účastníků Amor, Chuck, Jiří, Kůca, Peca, Ucho jmenováno v abecedním pořadí. V Havlíčkově Brodu jsme přestoupili na malý klimatizovaný motoráček a přesunuli se do Jihlavy. Tam nastal další přesun, kvůli výluce tentokrát ČD autobusem ve kterém jsme už trochu usínali. V Kostelci u Jihlavy potom opět nástup na vlak až do cílové stanice Telč. Fernet došel akorát na nádraží... což lze přisoudit tomu že jsme vydatně zapíjeli každou změnu dopravního prostředku. Vyrazili jsme potom k náměstí Zachariáše z Hradce. Málokdo věnoval pozornost mému povídání o mariánském sloupu a tak jsme zapluli na zastíněnou zahrádku u hotelu a začali objednávat. Bylo enormní vedro, chudák Amor se rozplácnul na studenou dlažbu v podloubí a čekal co bude. Vtipná servírka se brzo dala do konverzace a Jiří jí místo prodeje válcovačky plechu hned lákal do HP teamu. Po vydatném pozdním obědě jsme ho tam nechali a šli se podívat na legendární lávku přes rybník. Jsou z toho krásné fotky naší grupy v pozdně odpoledním slunci. Pomalu bylo nutné posunout se o štaci dále - všichni jsme věděli že po cestě je bufík U Roštěnky kam jsme se také svižnou chůzí dostali. Sympatické letní bistro u Rosťovského rybníka hrozilo naplněním proroctví, že tam vykysneme a s každým dalším pivem se to blížilo realitě. Meteorologická situace naznačovala noční bouřky a Jiří nás tak nějak přesvědčil že vezmeme místní chatičku, chtěli jsme to hodit na takovém krytém openspace, ale správce to nedovolil. Vůbec Jiří s Amorem nám připravovali samé vtipné mezihry. Amor se na chvíli zaběhl a náhle už vidíme jak ho hladí mladé roštěnky a Jiří jim pomáhá stavět stan, nebo v jinou chvíli správce říká já řeknu Terezce a ona vám ukáže chatku, takže milá Terezka cca 19let najednou hladí Amora a mizí na chvilku s Jiřím kamsi k chatkám;) Následovaly další piva, příchod tmy, noční koupel v rybníce a snaha spát v chatce s hrozným vedrem....
Ráno jsme vstali poměrně slušně brzo, dali si nezbytný párek v bufetu a vyrazili kousek za roh se vykoupat v rybníce. Po této snídani už opravdu pochod zvlněnou vysočinskou krajinou. První obec Volevčice nás uchvátila svou malebností a také funkční obecní váhou z roku 1936. Následoval pochod skrz obec Doupě kde jsme dali vůbec první pauzu a posléze stoupání na hrad Roštejn. Bohužel tím že bylo pondělí byl hrad uzavřen a tak jsme jen posvačili a pochodovali dále směr Třešť. Den byl dusně parný, potili jsme se jak vrata od chlíva, ale ještě v plné síle rychle pochodovali. Před Třeští bylo pár rybníků ale žádný nelákal ke koupání, nicméně odbočili jsme nakonec na koupací rybník u města a ochlazení to bylo velmi příjemné, dokonce i Kůca se smočil. Ve městě jsme doplnili zásoby a zapadli do restaurace U Kapra, ne úplně sympatické, ale funkční hospody. Servírky to měli trochu na háku, ale pivo jsme dostali, jídlo se jíst dalo a tak jsme se pěkně rozleželi. Zhoršující meteorologická situace rozpoutala diskusi, jestli půjdeme dál, nebo jak navrhoval Jiří vezme zavděk místní ubytovnou, provozovanou v rámci celého kaprova komplexu. Navíc Ucho si stěžoval že ho bolí noha/pata. Jak tak debatujeme přišel déšť, pak liják, hromy, blesky a to jsme podlévali pivem, takže bylo za chvilku jasné že dnes už asi nikam nepůjdeme. Jiří vše vyjednal a tak poté co jsme si dali i večerní jídlo jsme s ním a Chuckem zapluli do multilůžáku. Kůca s Uchem přišli o něco později, dostali z toho hrozný záchvat smíchu a přestože už měli zaplaceno šli zpět do hospody dát si další rundu. Celou noc potom propršelo, takže musím uznat že to možná nebylo tak špatné.
